JPD Animations is a browser-based audio visualizer developed by Octet Software ("we", "us", or "our"). It runs entirely in your web browser.

The short version: JPD Animations processes audio locally in your browser to generate visuals. Audio is never recorded, uploaded, or sent to us.

1. Microphone & audio input

If you choose to visualize live audio, your browser will ask permission to access your microphone or audio input. The audio stream is analyzed in real time on your device to drive the animation. It is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or any third party. You can revoke this permission at any time in your browser settings.

2. Information we collect

JPD Animations does not require an account and does not ask for personal information. We may collect basic, anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as page views) through our web host to understand traffic. This does not identify you and does not include any audio.

3. Cookies

The app may use minimal local storage to remember your visual preferences on your device. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

4. Children's privacy

JPD Animations does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

5. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
