Common questions

How do I play?

Letters fall through the drop box at the top. Tap a falling letter to send it to your tray, tap a column to drop it there, or drag a letter straight to the board. Then stake a tray letter onto any empty board cell — placement is permanent. Words score like a word search in four directions (left→right, top→bottom, and both diagonals) and must be at least three letters. A word's score is (sum of its letter values) × (the multiplier tiles it covers) + any bonus tiles. The game ends when the drop box fills up — and any board letter that isn't part of a scored word subtracts its value at the end, so leave nothing wasted. What are seeds?

Every board is built from a seed, which also shuffles each letter's point value (A–Z become 1–26 in a new order every seed). Play the daily seed and everyone in the world faces the same board, or tap Load Seed to replay a specific board or share a challenge with a friend.

How do I remove ads?

Tap Remove Ads on the main menu to make a one-time in-app purchase ($1.99) that permanently removes ads. It's tied to your Apple ID.

I bought Remove Ads but the ads are back

If you reinstalled the game or switched devices, open the menu and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought it on, your purchase will come right back at no extra charge.

My high scores aren't showing on the leaderboard

Leaderboards run through Apple's Game Center — make sure you're signed in to Game Center in Settings → Game Center, and that you're online. Your best scores are always saved on your device regardless.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
