Letters rain into the drop box at the top. Tap a falling letter to send it to your tray, tap a column to drop it there, or drag it straight to the board.
Your tray is a small working hand. Pull the letters you want, hold what you need, and spend them one placement at a time — you can't hoard forever.
Place a tray letter on any empty board cell. No take-backs. Every letter is a commitment, so where you put it matters as much as which one it is.
The run ends when the drop box fills to the top. And at game over, any board letter not part of a scored word becomes a dead letter that subtracts its value — leave nothing wasted.
Words read four ways, and where they land is the whole game.
Valid words run left→right, top→bottom, and both diagonals. At least three letters. Extra letters beside a word don't score, but they don't break it either.
Every seed reassigns A–Z to values 1 through 26 — so reading this board's letter economy is part of the puzzle. The small number on each tile is its value right now.
Each board carries the same pool — 2×, 2×, 3×, 3×, 5×. Cover them with a word and their values add up, then multiply the whole word. Land a big word across two and it stacks fast.
Bonus tiles (+5 up to +50) add flat points. Extend a word — AREA → AREAS — and you bank only the new letters. Each exact word scores once per game.
